I have to stop, I need to wait for book two, but I was reading and I was getting very confused because this entire story was SO familiar to me and I was getting concerned because I am not psychic, but I would have sworn that I had read this before, but it just came out like a month ago. Turns out I read it on Vella, lol. So now I wait for book 2.

When you are reading a book that you know will eventually get good, but you have to stop yourself from skipping all the annoying parts where the men treat the heroine like shit until they figure out that she isn’t the bad guy.

Dnf, never will.

This is touted as a “sweet” omegaverse story, but man, this is way more stressful than any sweetverse book I have EVER read.

Seriously, I need this book to be over. Can we get to the part where she dives into the ocean, he rescues her declaring his “love” for her and they let me move on? No, instead they want to continue to manipulate, hurt, harm, and belittle one another while trading sexual favors and innuendo, I’m going to have to read some hallmark channel type books to get the taste of this crap out of my mouth.

This isn’t romance, this is toxicity. There is no love, there is abuse and control.

So far this book makes me sick. It reminds me of why I tried to kill myself and is so triggering, that I don’t want an HEA, I just want it to end. I am shaking and in tears and this book needs a HEAVY trigger warning. Like massive all in caps with asterisks around it.

The levels and depth that this book/series has is on level with Rowling. Omg, I am in love!

Literally in the first 3 pages I am so mad on the FMC’s behalf, I want to scream.

The FMC is an effing moron that I just want to beat the crap out of, I am so mad! I really hate the whole, “I’m breaking up with you for your own good,” BS she I telling herself. Argh!! That is my LEAST favorite romance trope EVER!!!!

Omg!! I just fangirled all over myself because she totes gave a nod to C.M. Stunich’s Underland series!!! Which is my fave!

I am obsessed! I stared at my kindle til midnight, just so I could start it, I may not sleep tonight just so I can finish and torture myself for another month waiting for the next one!
