It took me a bit to get into this one, but by the end, I couldn’t put it down. Suspenseful murder mystery where pieces come together through a journalist, Fiona, many years later. Great twists and turns!

I’ve heard a lot of hype about this book, and it was good, but not as good as expected. It sounds like he’s lived a pretty charmed life. He makes much of his success sound like it almost fell in his lap.

Incredibly slow start with “teasers” at the end of every, single, short chapter that ended up being nothing most times. The pattern got old fast. Good twist at the end, but not sure it was all worth it.

As I read, this book was about nothing, but the relationships and characters and heartache and heartwarming drew me in. LOVED!

A little cheesy start, but well worth the read. Sweet story of faith.

Read this one aloud with my 10- and 14-year olds. Such a good perspective (although raw and hard) on the war and POWs. Inspirational!

Read this for the first time with my 13-year old daughter. A must read for all about tolerance, acceptance, kindness, and unconditional love.

Read with my 8-year old for school. Cute!
