Private Eyes is not the usual Kellerman I have come to know and expect. The first 150 pages is his monograph on psychotherapy 101.I can see how it wouldn't appeal to a lot of readers.I found it to be interesting in a sort of cold academic way.Kellerman's skill at describing faces and places, flora and fauna,is elegant and graceful and lends a deeply woven texture to his prose.Yeah,,, he writes real good!
