One of the most disjointed and confusing stories I have ever read. I hung in there to 88% but couldn't waste any more time on it. Very disappointing.

Really good story....may take awhile, 1000 pages but I have to admit, I love a big book, and I cannot lie. Ken Follett is a great story-teller.

Am loving this book about trees and how their roots help each other by communicating through fungi all the needs of others. It's very grounding and paints a picture of perfect harmony. I'm 50% done.
