Really enjoying this so far, much more than I thought I would!

I'm really struggling to understand what this book is supposed to be. I guess a YA fairy tale? It's not bad, I guess, but I do think it's a little bland. We'll see if it picks up.

This is an okay book but it's incredibly heavy. Need to read something else just to give myself a break!

I'm pretty sure I've cried at every single one of Osman's books, but I think this one just took the cake for bringing me to tears the quickest.

I can't decide whether I like or hate this book. Every time the fantasy elements come forth I really enjoy it, because that part seems genuinely fun, but the romance makes me grind my teeth with how forced and toxic it feels.

Also the main character is horrendously bland. But the concept of the world seems so fun! Ugh.

I'm listening to this as an audio book and thought that was why I was struggling with understanding the passage of time, but nope, it just isn't made well clear. This book is also kind of insane? I probably would DNF it but I need something to listen to in the car while I drive.

Unfortunately this is going to be a DNF for me. While the start was pretty good, it got way too tropey and the main characters I find really unlikeable.

I am absolutely loving this book - how could I have let it sit on my shelf so long!

This is technically a re-read for me, but I haven't read it since I was around ten years old and it feels as delightful as it did back then. It's very nostalgic, and I'm enjoying it very much.

This is my third time trying to read this book - I love the premise but I always end up putting it down and not picking it back up. Third time's the charm!

This is a DNF - I got to the line "A lot of people's insides are about to start being on the outside. Jade can hardly help smiling. Best graduation present ever." and put it down. The main character's obsession with slashers and her unstable mental state makes it a very unenjoyable and tedious read. Think Catcher in the Rye but for over 400 pages. No thank you.

Attempt number two at reading this one - wish me luck!

I get it - it makes my heart hurt, and it's hard to read and think about the words, but I don't want to put it down.
