I am not connecting with this as deeply as I did with The Women or as I wanted to. I think for as much as Vienne calls Isabella a thoughtless idiot, she sure seems to be one.

I’m not quite as connected to this as I was to The Women. And I loved The Women much earlier in the book.

Feeling a little long right now but Jodi has never done anything wrong in my eyes. The characters are rich and nuanced in a way that is so annoying because there’s a few people I want to hate.

Is Caroline…an idiot?? It makes this book almost funny

This is a lot more memoir than I was expecting

Do I have excellent taste in books or what?? I got this confused with a romance novel based on the cover so the beginning was shocking (just due to my expectations) but holy shit this is so good (and I imagine so much better than the romance).

This is genuinely a masterpiece

Can I call an audiobook cinema? It’s really very good. It started a little confusing for me but I am LOVING it now.

Literally nothing has happened. I think cozy mysteries are not for me, but I waited for this book to be available for four months so I have to finish it.

Pure smut. Idk if I wasn’t so excited to watch the show after reading, I don’t think I would be this far into the book. Shane and Ilya’s relationship seems so superficial. The context of the show is why I’m enjoying the details like the tuna melt and ginger ale. Otherwise it’s just a weird scene added in. No context before or after it.

This feels like a slice-of-life story more than a dystopian/apocalyptic one.

This is really really cute. I’m also (surprisingly) enjoying the world-building aspects. To be fair, it’s not very difficult to grasp. There are a lot of similarities between the real world and this world.
