Seriously Ashley Poston is flawless. I am always so drawn in right off the bat. Immediately feeling connected to the characters and the relationships are always so SWEET it makes me kick my feet

I am vaguely interested, but I’m not really into slice-of-life books. I waited several months to get this audiobook from the library so I’m committed, but am taking a break.

Also, there must’ve been a way to write this book without Violet and Xaden being so far away and only seeing each other once a week?? And then sometimes not even being able to meet?? Also very annoying but obviously I’m eating it up.

I am so mad at how bad the regular audiobook is. The dramatized version makes Violet so much less book smart and Dain so much less whiny AND Xaden just…better. I have a tough time with any world building so I like the at least start fantasy series with an audiobook and the one narrated by Rebecca Soler almost turned me off of the entire series.

Immediate reread with the dramatized audiobook and it’s immediately so much better. I’m so pissed about the one narrated by Rebecca Soler. It was atrocious.
