A new perspective for me on Africa. Very good.

Elizabeth is reading The Immortal Rules (Blood of Eden, #1)
Meh. Interested enough to finish the trilogy, but the writing is somewhat immature and the plot is cliche.

Excellent. I loved the description of the adaptation of both the earth and humans after almost all humans were eradicated by a virus. Sad but hopeful.

Elizabeth is reading Lord of All Things
The science fiction portion was interesting. The book as a whole got a bit bogged down with unnecessary back story. But all in all a decent read.

Elizabeth is reading Parable of the Sower (Earthseed, #1)
A different type of "post-apocalyptic" dystopian society book in that while it's in the future and society has completely broken down into the corrupt few versus the poverty stricken many, there is no apocalyptic event that caused the breakdown. More or less just what happens after an empire (US) falls apart and the people are forced into basic survival mode. Very realistic, and interesting too.

Elizabeth is reading Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption
Interesting but I grow bored toward the end simply because of the dry expository writing style of a biography.
