Good for now I will report back at the the middle of the novel to give more opinions.

The book is a really slow place story just forming. At the moment but I don’t dislike that for now

First thoughts part 3

To the forefront of conversation.

- there is a lot of conflict between that agency of women vs Village council that consider that maybe they have to much. (Possible theme not sure ? )

First thoughts (part 2 )

- We see that the author borrow from many culture and idea through history.

- nature seem to be important as there is descriptions of his landmark.

- characters and culture are distinct from each other and seems well flesh out. They all have their distinctive voice and thoughts.

- Women in this first book have agency a backbone. For the 1990 ‘s Jordan seems to bring modern ideas.

First update on this journey of reading maybe being able to read the 14th books before November.

First thoughts

-Jordan writing is more digestible to me than I thought it would be. I was expecting really dense and difficult plot to follow.

- the author is using a lot of fantasy trope like the chosen one and many other. (Not a bad thing)

- culture seems to be important since everything is describe to the wire.
