So far so good. Too many references to artists, places, ideas...bookmarking everything!

Did I tell you Peep and Pop piss me off?

Peep and Pop drive me crazy.

This book is really helpful and comforting. Grief is unavoidable, and shared by so many, even right now. We must be gentle with ourselves and our neighbors, because we do not know the depth of loss that exists in all of us.

I can't read this book fast enough. I had to take a break while I was out of town, but driving back into it is nice and welcoming, even necessary.

Took me until page 635 to realize on A'a chapters the bkwrds pg #s are odd and Tengo's even. Emerging subtleties gently recognized are representative of this book's great storyline and writing style.

The page #s are centered on the rt and lft sides of the pages, it's a story of 2 worlds joining. One side's #s are backwards mirroring the other side's #s. Parallel stories are being told, one chapter for character Tengo, the other for Aomame, alternating throughout book.

wow, when you don't want to miss a single word of a 900 page book, you know it's good! Murakami was recommended to me multiple times, now I see why!
