Computers & Typesetting, Volume A: The TeXBook
Just finished the section on defining macros. I have to confess they were more complicated than I would have thought. Was particularly intrigued by how you can define the delimiter for parameters.
And it looks like I haven't updated this progress in a while. Book remains a delight to read. Almost makes me regret that I no longer have any reports to write. :)

I knew that line spacing was potentially complicated. Well, I thought I did.

The section on stylistic considerations is interesting. I really like the goal of being to find a way to write the program that motivates the reader. With the amusing point that a compiler doesn't need motivation.

Reading Knuth's enthusiasm for the original WEB was awesome. Also, ridiculously hilarious to see that WEB was chosen as a name in part because it wasn't currently used in the field.

Stalling out pretty hard on this one, sadly. Still very neat items, but I want to be able to work some of them. That really slows me down. :(

So far, I'm loving this book. I've already jumped around a few sections, but currently going from the front. Reading all of the discussion on "goto" statements is oddly interesting.

Finally got around to the last of the shorts in this. Highly recommended if you are a fan of the genre.

I have yet to read a story in this book that didn't make me want to immediately read the next one. Very fun read.
