We're off to a terrible start, there's no author that fills me with this much disgust at their mere mention except Maas.

I regret to inform you that Darius the Indecisive from Verene's books was actually a vast improvement over Lucas the Unbearable.

The more I think about this series the more I realize how directly it parallels Verene's story. Cellier just replaced the names and called it a new series. Very sneaky.

I gotta take a break from this universe it's sucking the life out of me.

This ... this is just a flimsy romance without anything else in it isn't it? The only "twist" so far was so predictable I groaned out loud at the "reveal".

Yawn. This is a sad attempt at fantasy written in the voice of an inept YA author.

The premise is brilliant but the writing style doesn't match. The story calls for dark, mysterious, thriller-esque writing. Instead, the book delivers standard YA romance fare.

I can't keep reading this ... seriously, it's a one-way path to self-destruction from here. I don't wanna read this.

This book is so goddamn boring

Promising setting but the writing style is boring me to death and I can't talk myself into reading more.

It started off so great, for about half the book, but then it got more and more convuluted. The whole plot could've been solved in half the time if Kenny didn't run away every time somebody tried to explain.

"That name has become a part of me. Now I just need to get used to it." Really? Because it's the name you were born with. My god, this book is full of inane phrases it's like this book didn't have a single editor that was not insane.

"Giggles pour out of us like hit singles being downloaded from iTunes by the second." What ... I don't even ... ehhh?

Part of it is a guy convincing himself he isn't a freak for pretending to be girl online and flirting with guys and the other part is D&D narrated by someone who played D&D twice.
Safe me.

I fell in love so hard with the first hundred pages of the first book that, even though it let me down, I picked up this one anyways. And it sucks.

Reads like a goodnight story for a little kid. In that light it isn't even all that bad.
