As usual from Mason a brilliant story, I will not give out any spoilers but Carters past catches up and there are interesting flashbacks to 5 years ago and why he is living of the grid.

The pace is good, great writing and we support our hero Carter Blake.

Brilliant writing as usual from C.J. Sanson , great writing of real characters, historically correct and a plot that draws the reader in.

Really good read, I am a fan of Barlng & Stanton and hope more will be written in this series.

Once again the bodies are piling up in different manner of deaths.
The authors writing style totally draws the reader in and very hard to stop reading.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it won't be my last! I am really enjoying this book and found it so easy to get into.
A strained working relationship between Stanton & Barking that begins to grow into respect.
Multiple murders, the villagers are hostile towards the Kings men and want to lynch who they think done it.

Like Stephen King Books, I find Lee Child books hard to put down once I have started reading them.
The good news? as a newbie to Jack Reacher I have whole back catalogue to catch up on.
The plots in lee Childs books quickly draw the reader in and this one I feel is going to get more twisted, A serial killer of ex female army officers and the profile matches our hero

Very good reading at the moment, a young new Policeman starting out in the Police in the 1980s and in the London areas and amonst historic events - PC Blakelock murder, Riots, rise in drug culture, very gritty and dark
