Rosemary is reading The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel; Clockwork Prince; Clockwork Princess
Disliked the first book but they improved; ridiculously melodramatic but still pleasurable in the end. OMG ALL THE TEENAGE FEEEELS.

Rosemary is reading Mistborn Trilogy (Mistborn, #1-3)
I was kind of surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I liked the complex world-building and the (relatively) thoughtful morality. I was excepting something s lot more cliche but this was a lot of fun. I binge-read the whole trilogy over the course of about two days!

Rosemary is reading How We Know What Isn't So: The Fallibility of Human Reason in Everyday Life
Repetitive and dry even though I love this sort of book...

Rosemary is reading The Nurses: A Year of Secrets, Drama, and Miracles with the Heroes of the Hospital
Probably one of the best books about nursing I've read recently.

Rosemary is reading The Outlaws of Sherwood
I am a serious sucker for retellings like this and I LOVE Robin McKinley. So yeah. Pretty great.

Rosemary is reading Ripper
Isabel Allende is NOT a murder mystery writer. Would have been two stars but for expectations.

Rosemary is reading Trick or Treatment: The Undeniable Facts about Alternative Medicine
Liked this, but wished it went further in unpacking why such snake-oil remains mainstream.

Rosemary is reading The Tombs of Atuan (Earthsea Cycle, #2)
Rejecting my April TBR, I reread The Tombs of Atuan. Because love, that's why.

Rosemary is on page 106 of 624 of The Bone Clocks
Just when I get invested in what happens to Holly Sykes, it's 7 years in the future and she is nowhere in sight. This is kind of annoying, but I will soldier on.

Rosemary is reading The Book of Deacon (The Book of Deacon, #1)
I guess this is what you get for free fantasy novels on the Kindle. A sword is never just a sword; it is a "gleaming blade," a "shimmering weapon," or a "fearsome tool." The heroine is a Mary Sue complete with baby dragon. Also, a there's a furry. I finished reading it hoping for closure, ideally with one of the irritating leads killed off...just a cliffhanger to get me to read the next book. No!

I can't believe I had never read William Styron before. All his books now must be read by me.
