Dieses Buch ist wundertoll und ich möchte es gleichzeitig mit einem Mal durchlesen und es mir in ganz viele kleine Euphorie-Häppchen aufteilen! *excited fuchtelnd im Kreis herum lauf*

Really liking this book so far. Very interesting language, and I can't wait for more of the worldbuilding. I was honestly surprised to see the book mention high-rises, but I'm guessing that's intentional. The characters are amazing, too.

Hmmm. Ich mochte den Anfang und den Humor dieses Buches. Jetzt finde ich die Hauptcharakterin eher nervig. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass sie eigentlich weiß, was sie will, und sich nur weigert, sich das einzugestehen. Außerdem beschreibt sie sich selbst aufgrund ihres Verhaltens als "bitch", aber irgendwie... hab ich das Gefühl dass das für sie ein... crafted persona ist, unnahbar und bitchy zu sein.

I simultaneously love and hate that this book takes *an eternity* to reveal the actual menace. (And I do hope there is some kind of menace, otherwise I'd be disappointed)

Ich mag wirklich, wie positive und negative Aspekte der ständigen Verfügbarkeit von Daten abwechselnd dargestellt werden. Also, protagonist, what the heck are you doing, stop that, it's bad for you.

Oof, this book is *completely* mistitled. If you want to write a slightly more modern Odyssey, complete with giants causing earthquakes and archaic takes on relationships, don't put "global warming" in the title!

Bisher spannend, auf jeden Fall mitreißender als The Dark Forest. Habe allerdings das Gefühl, so manches schon aus Percy Jackson zu kennen. Griechische Mythologie eben :'D

Oh come on please force another 1337 clichés into this. Please. And maybe another pointless love triangle? Or 42? ...Seriously, I would abort this book right now if I wasn't excited to write a one-star review for it. (And I want to stick to my reading schedule...)

Gods I hope this book becomes better towards the end. I can't stand any more 'science' (aka bullshit) fiction and clichés.

Took me a while to warm up with this book, but that may have been because I had just walked out of an interesting yet exhausting lecture when I started it. By the time the game of Go was mentioned, I was sold though and from that point on, it's been a typical Eschbach - neatly written, thought-through and absolutely enthralling.
