I really enjoyed the letter writing format of the book with the bits of history thrown here and there.

What stood out the most, probably the real reason I found this book delightful, was the love of food, the friendship, and sharing of everyday life. It made me a bit wistful and longing for a friend to do this with as well.

I didn’t really finish it. Just didn’t like it.

I loved this book. An interweaving of two stories that are centuries apart and yet so close.

Insightful, a good refresher for a seasoned homeschooling mother.

Waste of time.

This was an amazing book. Not full of fluff but not too intense either. I think this would make a great gift to the young women in our lives as part of their growing up journeys.
