Can I just point out that the king's actually are responsible for her getting hit by a car, NOT the driver, driving on the road. They're responsible for doing a runner.

She is also not responsible for not looking where she's going and getting hit by the car. The kings are. It's not an unreasonable nor unforeseen reaction to escaping essentially rape and torment. Therefore, they're liable for her getting hit by car.

In what universe is it acceptable for a man to force a woman with no training into a ring and start hitting her? This is shaping up to be super disgusting.

None of the things that annoy me in many books is present here. There's communication, honestly and really the kind of reaction i could relate to if i ended up in the situation. And sadly that's rare in this genre. Granted, still plenty of book left for MCs to do retarded things for plot purposes, but i am quite hopeful judging from what I have read. This seems a book very in touch with feelings.

If this Francesca could stop trying to protect every person trying to harm her, that would be great... Eventually, if she keeps doing that stupid shit, I won't care if harm comes to her.

It's amazing how "the Meg" isn't more idiotic in her actions than your usual female lead character that's supposed to be the bad arse know it all.

She'd actually have an excuse to do stupid shit. lol I'm totally not getting annoyed by her at all. Which is a nice change. I'm very grateful for this.

I went to bed late last night so I didn't have much time to read before I was nodding off. It was like 5am so this is by no means an indication that the book is boring. lol In fact quite the opposite.

That P. O. box thing was just the stupidest damsel in distress move I've read in a long time. Surely, that could've been written better.
