This was really a feel good story. It took grief and added a twist. It was uplifting and I thought about it when I wasn’t reading it.

It just so unbelievably and I couldn’t finish it. Would anyone go to an ex boyfriend’s house for dinner if he had a girlfriend?? It just doesn’t make sense to me. The characters are great it just not how anyone would really act.

Wow! This book really caught me off guard. If I could give it more stars I would. I listened to it on Audible and one of the women readers had a really thick French accent. But it helped the mood of the story. There were twists I never saw coming. I’m a history buff and this was a different look at WWll.

Couldn’t finish it. It was too odd.

Love to Read and listen to Audible

I had gone to see this movie when it came out with my Mother and Grandmother years ago. I wanted to see if it left me with the same feelings it did at 12 years old. It did. I have read many books regarding the Holocaust. It’s amazing to me that anyone can find anything good in it. It makes me look at my own life in a different way.

I listened to this. Really a great book. Nice to see the real actor.

Slower going more that I would like

This book was really good! Jimmy and Sheba reminded me of Sonny and Cher a bit. I didn’t want it to end. It’s been a really long time since I felt like this. It is told in the voice of the 14 year old summer nanny. She learns about love and how disfunctional her family is. It is set in the early 70s is my guess. Pick it up! Or even better listen to it on Audible! I won’t tell you why just do it!

This was a wonderful book! I listened to it and the person reading it, Emma Swann was really fun to listen too. I love this author too. I’ve already downloaded the next book!

Wow, this is a powerful book. The whole story is amazing but do is the author’s note at the end. I found myself thinking about it when I wasn’t listening to it. Remember be kind.

This was a great book for horse lovers. Growing up as a horse crazy girl to the adult I am now, this book satiated this for me. I recommend it to all horse lovers.

Wow this was a really great story. It’s about the packhorse library. And the very interesting women who ran it. It’s based on an actual packhorse library from 1935-1943. It was in rural Kentucky. It is based on the character, Alice and her marriage to Bennett Van clef. I listened to this in Audible. I like to feel the emotion of the story. Jojo Moyes always knocks it outta the park. Highly recommended!

I found this book to be really good. And it surprised me. It is about forgiveness and growing up. The way it started I thought oh boy I don’t know if I can read this. But realized the author was painting a picture of Mona and how she is. I really liked Ariel and how she was trying to do the right thing but wasn’t really sure.

I am liking this book. It started out about a talented girl hooking up with a druggy who hit the bigtime. I didn’t like the main character at this point. She was silly and not true to herself. Without spoiling it, it becomes more in-depth and realistic. I will write more after finishing. I’m starting chapter 17.

This writer is Swedish so when I first started reading I kept trying to figure out where it was taking place. Once I got that out of the way I truly was into the story. I just want to read. It is about a hockey team and everyone in the town and out of town. How much politics affects things. But so much more than this.
