This is so good so far. I’m very excited to read this. Main protagonists are female and they are great. Not too much “she’s not like other girls vibe” more like “girls are not like other girls” which is my favourite kind of feminism. Very witty as well, I actually laughed out loud a few times. The suspens is good. Not too much and not shoe horned thankfully. I don’t want it to stop.

I’m really enjoying the writing and the descriptions and the characters so far. However there are 2 things that bug me IMMENSELY. First off : it was NOT called Strasbourg (French name) back in 1518 and the fact that the author used Frau and such should have given a little bit of a hint. Second : Strasbourg’s Cathedral has only ever had ONE spire, singular. It’s stupid but it bugs me. I needed to vent.
