The story is interesting but the structure of the book bores me. There’s no real plot it’s leading up to, just random storytelling. This book has sent me into a reading slump

All I’ll say is when new people come into your life when your secrets are being revealed by an anonymous texter, you should be very wary

I’m reading up to the point of the secret from her best friend and it’s so horrible! Very believable but damn

There are two Nigerian characters in here whose speech is peppered with our local slang. I love that so much!

There is an interesting retelling of the original story. I thought the changes would just be in the continuation so this is a welcome twist

I can relate to acceptance of body through religion even when you do not really agree with it
