This book has some useful tools for parents who have time, resources, and motivation to put them in place. The tone is very intense and I think this could work for some people but discourage or turn off others. So, maybe it's a good rec for a resourced parent who can't access professional services, otherwise probably not.

These books are my absolute FAVORITE. I am resolving right now that I will re-read all of them before reading Red God.

3.5. Getting through the first half was a little rough, the pace was slow, I wasn’t sure how invested I felt in the characters. But it picked up and I’m interested enough in the world to see where this goes.
