I'm so annoyed right now. I was adoring this book until the protag had a sex dream that I almost thought was happening and kinda ruined the buildup of the tension between her and the male lead. I'm hoping it gets back to the build up vibe because that's what is making this book so good. but I felt thrown off. and it wasn't a good thrown off.

i had put this book down a while back because I was busy so I decided to start over and I love how the author is really setting up the story instead of rushing the romance. this book has a certain sassiness and very modern feel to it and the characters are different from what you encounter. you have a heroine who is doubtful but not annoying and learning to risk it and you have a male lead with mystery and charisma.

I'm finishing up Roomies by Christina Lauren and getting ready to start the Gliterring Court series by Richelle Mead. it feels good to catch up on reading. i had missed the reading life.

finally got back to this book after a crazy week. Calvin and Holland are interacting more and Calvin has a more fun personality than I thought. Holland remains still pretty quirky, so I think Calvin is gonna be of help to her to losen up. let loose? i don't know if im spelling it right but yea lol

I'm curious about how Calvin and Holland will interact more. but this book is pretty engaging and Holland is pretty quirky. think this will be a cute romance!

I miss GR a lot. I hope this is the year I can really catch up with everyone and reading ❤

Love the slow build up. Tijan could have included a scene that made this book Insta lust and didn't. There is a lot of character development in this book and me loves it.

Going by quickly. Summer is somewhat growing on me and I really love Caden. He's a bit of a mystery, has some alpha vibes but seems real!

I can't get enough of Caden Banks. This guy looks bad boyish but I think he's like a strong dude who doesn't like BS. Summer isn't too bad of a heroine. She's kinda growing on me. Let's see how this continues!

First Tijan book. Very easy to get into. Curious about the bad boy male character who I think isn't all that bad.

This book is book 1-3 from kai's perspective. I love his POV because he's funny, jaded, devilish but deep deep down is a good guy that is stuck in a bad place and he is British and I love his way of speaking. It's bloody brilliant!!! Lol
