Things are a bit out of order compared to the movie, which doesn't surprise me. I'm trying to wrap my brain around differences in a few characters.

I got this book through a grab-bag program where I didn't know what books I'd be getting.

I'm not trying to read this book quickly. Honestly, it is hard for me to find time to read during the week. This is probably my 2nd or 3rd time reading this book. Will and Lyra have so much ahead of them, but their journey is really just starting.

I started reading the book yesterday, after 4 pm. I'm almost done too. A very interesting take on angels and demons.

Cinders has been my favorite short story so far... It is just adorable :)

I set it aside for awhile to deal with life, picked it back up today and it's like I never set it down although I have read a few books since setting it down.

I love how the author laid out the scavenger hunt, how the main character grew over her summer back home. I don't know the fate of the bookstore yet, but I love this book!

I started reading this yesterday morning ... I'm already half way through! It's not a military fiction like I first thought, but it is a spy/crime fiction. Can't wait to see how it ends ...

Reading for book club - they said it was a difficult read, slow going. I read most of the current 95 pages in one sitting, last night. Not sure if I like it, but it has grabbed my attention.

I've read the first two books, waiting to start the third one. Really interesting stories of romance involving the English racing world.

I picked up the book before Memorial Day to read for Book Club in June - I had to put it down after a few days because I was reading it too fast and would have been done with it 2 weeks before the meeting...

Love this book, though I will admit to seeing the movie first... I can't believe how fast of a read it is... Can't wait for my book club's discussion on it next week!

The review of events leading up to the massacre is over, and now the author is in to discussing the possible motives...

Having read Loving Frank last month for book club, I wanted to read a more non-fiction take on the disaster.. liking it so far - a few things different from the historical fiction of Loving Frank, but I didn't like reading a summary of events in the first 80 or so pages.

I've been reading it for about a week. I can't bring myself to finish it for some stupid reason...

I'm liking Cruz so far- haven't really been able to stop reading it since I picked it back up yesterday evening. The one thing I'm not liking so far is how the chapters are broken apart by people: China Doll, Phishy, Punch Judy, etc.

Gibson needs to be taken down by The Cough.

Just started this for next month's book club, already on Chapter 5. Progress will only be made while at home this week, not allowed my tablet on the floor at work.

Slow going. Just got to chapter 2.
