RIP Gene Wolfe who died today.

For me, he was an introduction to unreliable narrators, to simple concepts using uncommon terms and to wonderfully clever writing, full of people I always want to know more about. His clarity of vision and his ability to communicate was awe-inspiring.

He is also one of the only authors where I think I have collected *nearly* everything he's written, on paper.

I'm a bit cheesed off at the randomness of connection between my kindle and goodreads. I figure I've read c35 books this year, with most of those on kindle. I cannot understand why some books are marked as completed and some not. Grr. I certainly can't be bothered to go back and manually edit 'finished' dates.
