Hey yall- just started reading this (thanks for the advanced readers copy, @netgalley) and wowwww I’m experiencing a reader’s *high* (pun intended) and I’m only a few chapters in. It’s so fun so far!

The Turkey cover is so beautiful! Also I’m about halfway through this one and I’ve ADORED every single word.

The Russian cover of this book 🤩 (it’s so pretty!) might switch over to that edition…

Maybe a little too close for comfort? Haha did have my chuckling when they’re all sitting in a mandatory trauma PD and they have to make a KWL chart about how this will impact students test scores because boy have I been there.

No I’m not actually reading the Turkish version of Wuthering Heights but the cover was just so much more fun. Let the re-read begin!

🤯 this town!

This may be the cutest thing I’ve ever read in my life??????! 😍😍😍

What a fun beginning! I was hooked immediately. Industrial New York= idyllic. Slow middle but I loved the ending. It totally redeemed some of the slow pacing. Loved the sisterhood of witches and the tiny dash of clean romance. Loved the various angles this book explored in regards to equality: women’s rights (even when it comes to the type of magic training girls are given vs. boys), Native rights, etc.

About 2 chapters in I abandoned the hope I was holding out for this one. A fascinating idea, perhaps too sci-fi for my comprehension. Would appreciate this as a movie for sure.
