So far, typical YA. Lots of teen angst. Divorced parents. Supposedly "wicked" stepmom and an "evil" stepdad. The first chapter got my attention. Then, it's been 70+ pages of backstory.

Luann Schindler is 50% done with Nobody's Child

I wasn't sure if I would like this. It's an interesting topic - a fictional story about a girl whose father is dying and in her quest to save the family farm, she sells her eggs for the promise of $10,000. It's supposed to be quiet, and then the pregnant mama shows up. Personally, a lot of extraneous description that doesn't necessarily add to the story. I'll keep you posted.

Luann Schindler is finished with Ten Rules for Living with My Sister

It's cute, and at times, a bit touching. I imagine a group of tweens reading and relating to themes of friendship, aging, aging grandparents, and sibling rivalry.
