Imagine all your favorite fantasy fairytales and now flip them on their head. So far that’s what this boom feels like. Very comical cus it’s all those stories toks from the opposite viewpoint

Wow well thought out characters with realistic interactions! In all seriousness I’m having fun reading this book and I feel like so much is happening with very little page count

Very entertaining (and comical) book so far that also touches on some hard topics

Super interesting read. Leaves you constantly wanting to know more and what happens next. However it reads more like a drama for the first 40-45% percent and only becomes a mystery halfway through

Okay so it’s gotten more interesting and I appreciate the LGBTQ elements. Also they are sorta addressing the themes I took issue with (underage sex, quid-pro-quo, etc) but at the same time they do t even provide arguments for why it’s wrong to treat women this way

Maybe I’m too quick to judge, but I need to write down my thoughts before they evaporate.

wow... a book that’s recommending several morally questionable ways for women to be successful besides merit: underage marriages/sex, quid-pro quo sexual assault, etc. I get that the author is saying these are common in show biz, but it’s wrong to say they are valid tactics that should be utilize to be successful

Very interesting plot but readers can tell what’s happening within the first 2 chapters as the “suspense”/mystery is very obvious. What keeps it interesting (or at least what makes me not stop reading) is determining how the MC overcomes his dilemma

Borrrring. Main character wasn’t even introduced 50+ pages into the book. Sorry I’m stopping here

I’m very surprised this book is leading the charts for top fantasy. I’ve read many better books that this can’t even compete with. It’s more of a mystery novel then a magic based fantasy

Honestly, this book is not worth anyone's time. The writing style could be better and lacks the "feel" of a proper hero's journey that I was expecting based on the book's description

Im about 2/3rds the way through this book and I can solidly say I'm going to give it a 5. Despite being fiction, the realistic nature of the book and use of two different first person narratives (the son and father) providers a wonderful wide perspective. The novel is powerful in that is shows how a family as a whole gets past grief and sadness of the death of a loved one.
