It is very clear from the beginning that the narrator is constitutionally unsuited to any sort of non-monogamous relationship, and so I keep alternating between feeling sympathy for her difficulties as she comes to term with this fact, and being irritated with her for having agreed to it in the first place.

This is *much* more my speed. So silly that I waited so long to pick this up, when I enjoyed the first one so much!

And we're back to that slow tread. I'll finish it, but I probably wouldn't if I were listening rather than reading.

Things are finally getting interesting, which is good, bit 200 pages is a bit long to wait for it

Had I known this was translated from German, I would have just picked it up in English already. But here I am, so I guess I'll keep on in French.

Very, very compelling. Quite enjoying this one.
