Well this is three books in one. I have finished "Sandpebbles". What to say. I found the story interesting but very distorted and confusing. Widow March Longfellow is trying to move past the loss of her husband; talking care of her young son and help her father at his church plus run a business. Will she finally deal with the loss of her husband and be able to move on to a possible new love?

A good read. Francine has dreamed and planned her life out with a marriage to her childhood sweetheart when he returns from the war. Then she gets word that he is coming home but with another woman. She decides to enroll in the program of Frontier Nursing Service and become midwife to the Appalachian people. Will she become a midwife? Will she enjoy the mountain life?

Stopped reading it. This is just not my style of book. Will see if I can pick it back up in a few weeks.
