I think my problem with this book is that it's a good story that I'm interested in, but ugh the writing. I don't know if maybe it's because it's translated? But there's a lot of repetition. Like, the character wrote something in a letter, "I feel x," and then another character says, "That person must feel x." Like ... wow, thanks. I didn't get that from the fact that they literally said that's exactly how they feel.

I've been waiting to read this book for so long, but I'm already hesitant. I'm not a fan of the writing style or unnatural dialogue. And I feel like things just happen? Like it's all coincidental, as if there was no planning. The main character just randomly remembers A TIME TRAVEL CAFE? Who would forget that? And while wondering why there's a rule, she just happens to remember an article that answers that question.

This is very boring

Absolutely did not appreciate Cedric's dad saying Cedric could "tell his grandkids" about beating Harry in a game. Was not prepared for how sad that was 😭

Finally met Roy over halfway through the book. I was starting to think he wasn't real.
