A and I are loving this book. Almost through and it’s been a great journey with mini conversations. We love chitchat and heard some squirrels on our walk and found out real quick what a great name chitchat was.

Recommended from my MIL that she and her mom read together (the series). Looking forward to being part of that.

Listening on audible and not as nice as reading on my kindle. Lots of interruptions in this season of life for me and it’s harder to rewind 30 seconds and repeat the same parts rather than just find my place…

Memaw gave alise this book and we read tonight. She liked it a lot and the repeating poem is great for her age. It’s a tongue twister at the end!

Katsa is “in love” with po but is afraid she will belong to another person, have to build her life around them and be answerable. But in love you are answerable to those you love because you respect them and want the best. But not as a manipulative keep track of.
Is that what we want as humans to be only our own? I think we all have a need for connection and love to give and receive and were designed this way.

I like the book and characters. I think Po’s grace is the most convenient grace for the love interest of our character. He understands emotion well and knows her without her having yet to understand herself.

Do women crave to be understood and known?

Audio book on this one.

I’m liking his overall argument or question. Which I think is only give a small few fucks of your own choosing that matter.
In the beginning he did nail on the head some of my anxiety thoughts.
So I’m wondering if I ponder what those thoughts mean in terms of what fucks I give and over what.

How come Sarai can’t let the other girls into what she’s seeing by putting a moth on them when they sleep and going down to weep? She can change the dream. Why not live stream it for them?

2.
Lazlo is a blue guy. Don’t know what they did with all the babies after M explains they are taken away very young. But he might of survived since he was grey and not blue?

I have some predictions before I finish because I’m interested in seeing what ends up happening verses my guesses throughout.
I have two:
M is a ghost, died the day she rescued the 4 babies but changed herself like the other ghosts can to appear real. Plus she can trap ghosts after she died more powerful?

Loving the cold weather clothes and yummy foods described. It also has me romanticizing the work day a bit.

I made progress on my “aspirational vision” from in April 2018. nice to solidify concepts. This book has been so practical, that nothing seems to be holding me back. it is in paradox to the fact that I’ve been brainstorming “my why” all week and it’s finally coming to fruition, or rather just starting. while I made a giant big first step, thing book helped me go forward away from theory and thought.

The way she captures the worries and love of parenthood is parallel to mind reading. The fragmented sentence structure unbalances me in the same way that raising a child does. I’m wanting to highlight so many more things than I am because if I do I’ll highlight the whole book.
