I haven't had this much pure fun reading a book in maybe ever. I hope it keeps up.

Still a hoot. Just need to make time to read this book (I've got probably 5 going at the same time).

The Kindle app says I'm 31% done. Thought I was further along than that. Good. A very seamless continuation from Six of Crows, although in many ways it's like that book never happened, almost like it was just back story for this one. Still fun so far. I get the feeling we are about to veer off from the main plot and into a sub-plot, but I'll put up with it because the writing is fun and fast paced.

I'm done but I want to rememeber to write a review when I have the chance. If you need a quick one. I recommend it.

So, this is about to be the best horror/thriller book I have read in a very long time, or it's about to become "it's really a story about human nature" and I will despise and hate it. Wish me luck for a book about a town fighting a ghost witch instead of a book about a town fighting each other.

For a guy that hates this type of book, I sure do pick up a lot of them. I wanted to hate this book, like I hate all of this "type" of book, but she snagged me with the line, "You can't make me, and neither can I." Then, there's something about pairing with an Obliger. That's totally not me, except the whole meeting outside expectations easier than inside ones... Fine, I'll read it.

I read her brilliant Broken Earth series. It seems odd to go back to the earth as alive well again, but I'm hooked, so I guess maybe it was a smart move! Great read so far.

I have multiple myeloma. I tried to read this last year but it was too soon, and I had too many issues. It seems to be working this time.

This is great writing. I haven't met even half of the main characters and I'm hooked.

I still have four books I bought at Christmas to read, but I saw this at the library, and I always wanted to read it. Interesting concept so far. Reminds me of World War Z (book not movie). Told via transcripts of interviews that are/were taken after the actual events of the story.

I'm hooked. This is going to be good. I loved the Broken Earth trilogy. I can feel a similar cadence here. I think I will really like it.

I don't even know how I ended up reading this, because it's not my usual sort of thing, but I'm sure glad I did. This book is great. Anyone who likes reading will like this book.

Chapter 1 definitely has me interested in reading the rest. The jacket suggests there are a lot of characters and subplots. I like that when it's done well. Hope it is here.

Already picked up a new vocabulary word. Oh, and the rich, connected guy has gotten the poor guy in trouble by provoking him and calling his dad a name wherein the poor guy just couldn't NOT try and punch the rich guy. I'm sure it picks up from here.

She killed her first target, and the author did a weird (I'm sure it was supposed to be parallelism) thing where her first sex, was like her first kill, but we've moved on and it seems the assassins don't want to be found, but she found a compatriot, so here we go...

Promising beginning. His girlfriend is dead, a martyr, of course. But, how will it go from here? I've heard it compared to the hunger games, but more. Let's hope it follows through.

Certainly not the same as the Martian, although how could it be. Need to re-engage with this book.

Got bogged down in a particularly long, particularly sadistic set of chapters about a space prison, but we've finally moved on and I'm back to enjoying the book.
