Absolutely hooked on this book, OMG. I was hooked from the very beginning. I’m prepared to be emotionally wrecked.

Cute art, very boring.

This book is so illuminating, I never considered my love of TV commercials may be a thing people associate with Autism……in retrospect, I suppose it was odd my dad and I would spend hours watching old commercials on compilation DVDs or YouTube.

I wish I had read reviews before bothering this one. The plot is genuinely so dumb. I’m mildly intrigued by one or two of the characters. Hoping the remainder gets better? If I weren’t listening to the audiobook, I would have given up a while ago.

Kinda getting into it.

More importantly, live tweeting updates here is more productive than commenting on tiktok😂

Husband and I concluded that he is greatly exaggerating a decent chunk of these stories. There was an interesting blip but back to just patting himself on the back.

Not sure what I thought this would be about, but the deep dive into childhood trauma has been depressing.

231/602: The recurring theme of “everything has always been chaotic” remains evident reading through 1849. Violent mobs, fighting, bad business, and awful politicians exist back then and today.

This is shaping up to be one of the longest (time) to read, but my favorite. Such a robust look at this segment of Philadelphia’s society back then.

Have to pause to read “A statement by J. Schott [in relation to his duel with Pierce Butler, including the correspondence of the parties]” to dive into the discussed duel more

Kinda comforting to see the problems from the late 1830s / early 1840s are so similar to the problems of today in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

I'm half-way through this book and hooked! I never read one of Jodi Picoult's books before; TBH I never looked to see what they were about. I just assumed that if it was popular and the cover looked feminine, that it was just a fluffy romance. Boy was I wrong!

Sadly I'm still not into this volume of GOT. I enjoy Arya and Sansa's chapters, and occasionally Samwell's. Otherwise I'm finding it to be rather boring.

So far it is just average. While the subject is interesting, it’s not as interesting as she makes her life out to be.

I just love these books! I started the series in the middle years ago and am loving the origins of the whole series!

So far it is not really grabbing my attention. The writing also seems too simple for my liking.

So far I'm not really feeling it. My mind seems to shut off whenever sports are mentioned, probably shouldn't have gone for a book about hockey!
