I’m really not sure about this one. It’s reading very juvenile but still taking itself quite seriously. Might need to give RF Kuang a few years and check back in. She’s just so young and it definitely shows in her writing.

Idk why I started listening to this while also reading Lagoon. Two techy afrofuturist sci-fi books at once is gonna be confusing lol.

Trying to keep my updates spoiler free but the ending is sort of fizzling out for me so this is a bit spoilery. Just how did it take Robin this long to realize that the ppl protesting Babel obviously shared the same opinions with him (like you were stealing from Babel sir, where’s the difference? y’all are obviously on the same side??)

Chapter 18 has me crying and gasping 😱 god I love when characters finally voice all their repressed feelings
