Listening to this while packing and it is SO good. Idk if y’all are on Hurricane Katrina tiktok/hearing recently about the extend of the devastation that never really came to light on a national scale but I just coincidentally picked up this book and then the tiktoks were on my feed and it’s just mind blowing

Listening to this as an audiobook and Dom’s narrator……🫦 was a strategic choice

Absolutely brutal to experience the inner monologue of a 19 year old in the throes of a toxic situationship with a man who speaks in false-promising but super elusive code. As a survivor of this life stage it’s healing to know even Harvard kids experience this. Who among us hasn’t fallen prey to this phenomenon? 🫡

My dad and I read this book together in 7th grade (surprised he let me read this) and we talked about it again last week so I’m rereading it as an adult 🥹
