Talk about rollercoaster ride. This book is way better than I could’ve ever thought. I wonder why it hasn’t been made into a movie yet?!

This book was highly recommended to me by a client. I told her I wanted something different to broaden my horizons. All I can say is WOW! I wasn’t even 10 pages into the book before it had all my attention and emotions! It’s been a while since a book that’s not romance has been this good to me.

Whewww-we. I knew it was going to be good but this is intense! 😮‍💨

Way better than the first book already. I’m honestly very surprised at how much I’m enjoying it. The writing is a lot better in this one to me.

I was right, but it resolved quicker than I thought. So I now I think there’s another hump to get over.

It’s going great! I have an idea of where it’s headed and I hope I’m right but I’m also conflicted cause that’s gonna be a problem…smh.

Only 2 chapters in and I already know this is going to be one of my favorite reads so far. It’s something about the writing style of the author. Plus this books is not only in the same Universe as Curvy Gurl Summer but it’s happening at the same time. Which I think is so genius and something we don’t usually see in series!

The plot twist! This books is soo good! Idk what I’m going to do once I finish it!

Definitely wasn’t expecting this plot twist. It definitely took the whole book in a different direction but I’m not mad at it…

Now we’re cooking! I love the cat and mouse reference. I l is this book is “dark” but I find it extremely cute. Maybe it’s something wrong with me. Lol

Not gonna lie it’s a slow start and that threw me off. However it’s picking up and I’m liking it. It’s like dark romance but in rom-com format.

So far I’m really enjoying this story playing out.
