Reminds me of John Dies at the End

Started out strong, but now it is super slow. I really want to like this book, but right now it is clocking in at a 3.

A bit on the slow side... it would be great if there was a Dark Tower or Talisman tie-in. A girl can dream....

It’s ok so far...

Still a bit slow, but improving now that characters other than Darrow and Lysander are narrating. It’s weird how this series started out with Darrow, but now he is one of the least compelling characters starting with book 4. I’m still hanging in there.

Meh, really boring story so far at the half way mark. I dig many of the 80’s references,but it’s really annoying having them explained at me. Yeah, like I get it, I was there...

I’m listening to the audio version and Wil Wheaton is a rather lifeless narrator. I hope the story becomes more engaging. So far this is my least favorite read for 2018. Please tell me it gets better...

This book is so awesome. Will probably finish this weekend on my trip to Dallas. Sucks the third book won't be out until next year.

I have my doubts about this one, but so far I don't hate it. Not typical for King.

I read this back in Highschool and it has always been in my top 10 books EVER. Listening to it now on Audible. John Steinbeck is a brilliant writer and no one portrays the human condition more astutely than he. This book had a profound effect on my world view.
