This is such a slow read for me. I absolutely devoured the first book but for some reason this one is just not hitting. Too many uses of “said ~” like I took the stairs, and “said stairs” exploded, etc etc. I also don’t remember the prose of the first book being quite so flowery? It’s getting out of control

Ah okay so this book is about vampires 😂 don’t know how it took me so long to figure that out.

Just want to remember “alien jazz hands” was used here 😂
