Interesting....

This book, and the subject matter, is intense. Makes for slow reading, as the writer has fully captured the pain, indignity and embarrassment suffered...I want to know, but it affects the reader's mood so it's slow-going. Very powerful story and narration.

Already disturbing

So near, and yet so far. Also not sure I want to know how it ends!

OMW, I don't know who is the bigger idiot - the mother, or the father! It's amazing this woman is somewhat coherent.
