It’s a bold move to make the protagonist so absolutely completely unlikable. I’m hoping now that I’m past the halfway mark we’re gonna see a reason why she sucks?

At least there’s a secondary love story that it bounces back-and-forth to, I’m at least cheering for those guys

Ok, fine - some of the examples of musical works later in the book were quite enjoyable. But then in chapter 22 there was another piece with too much chromaticism and atonality that made me feel horrible

I’ve liked most of these audiobooks, but I’m not totally enjoying the choices of musical examples - for some reason they’re giving me anxiety. I guess he’s too experimental for me 🤣

I listen to a lot of audiobooks about Buddhism to relax and chill out. Most of them I completely vibe with - this one has been hard to finish.
