Ok the book did finally pick up. I’m a little mad it made me ugly cry there for a minute, but some books squeeze in some coping with dead mom trauma amongst the romance.

I’m 1/3 through this and a little frustrated at the pace. It’s slower than I’m used to and while usually I can’t wait to keep reading, this one has me going - oh yeah, I was reading that. (But I have the unfortunate inability to NOT finish what I started.) It’s not a bad book so far. Just not compelling.)
