Halfway through and it's pretty rough... Is the author a tween who just discovered poetry? Favourites so far:
* People are found missing all the time, but missing people are rarely found.
* The only good thing about losing everything is having nothing left to lose.
* One person’s nothing is sometimes a whole lot of something for someone else.
Haven’t cringed this hard since rereading my own middle school diary.

The premise is interesting but the pace is a bit slow. 60% in and we’re still discussing what a minimal concept of death might be for an animal 🧐
