So far so good! Books about classical education are of a great interest to me. The author shows how difficult it is to attempt to acquire a classical education (grammar, logic, rhetoric) nowadays. But she emphasizes that it was always hard. Today’s distractions - TV, Internet, etc. - are no more powerful than what readers in the past had to face. Emphasis is given to writing a journal to retain ideas and quotes.
