I've read two of Blake Crouch's sci-fi novels and loved them, but this one isn't of the same quality. For some reason, I'm not able to suspend my disbelief here. The little details seem too unrealistic for something that isn't SciFi. And for a federal agent, this guy sure seems to share a lot of classified information with random civilians.

This audiobook is giving me life right now. Hearing Sam call Graham "Lavish McTavish" is worth the $15 alone.

How is this rated so highly? The storyline involving infants/children is highly unsettling. I'm not sure if I'll be able to stomach much more. Why is everyone OK with this?!

I can't remember the last time I was this quickly immersed in a story! I am right there with Bea on that stage. This feels so real. Too real, in a lot of ways.

I'm about ready to DNF this. If I thought the first part was bad, the second is so much worse and there's no way this audiobook is only 12 hours long. It feels like I've been listening forever.

Returning to the great slump-buster, Agatha Christie!

I'm determined to finish this in 2019, but it's really testing me. Rice has gone off on this historical/religious tangent that seems to be lasting forever.

I don't remember the rest of the series being this slow. It feels like it's on a treadmill. It's moving, but not going anywhere.

This animal abuse/rat fighting plot point is really disturbing. It's making my stomach turn. I was only semi-enjoying this book before, but now I'm barely wanting to finish it.
