I’m going into this with a lot of skepticism, not for the investigative journalism, but because I rarely trust white men in being able to write about China without being racist (unintentionally even when they’re trying not to be). As a Vancouverite, I can’t help but be curious to read this seeing how hyped it was when it came out.
