Ok but realizing this book is 1000+ pages 😩 Idk if I can handle Diem for that long so it better get better QUICK.

Liking it a lot so far. The world building is interesting and still building. No real spice at all really.. guess that’s what they mean when they say “slow burn”. Haha interested to see where it goes!

I’m loving it so far! Nice to not have to follow a complicated plot but still having to remind myself this place does not have magic so he can’t read her thoughts. I know I’ll be devastated somehow so I’m bracing myself…

This has been soo hard to get through. As a retelling from Cass’ POV it provides no new info and no real new insights. Most of it is from book and 1 so we have been soo far since then. It feels like a filler book but could have served a purpose for those who didn’t just binge read everything before this.

Trying to cure my onyx storm hangover.. Kingfisher is here and the audio book is goood. “Are your kind supposed to nap in the afternoons? You’re really grumpy. I’m the one with the hangover, y’know.”

Got my cheat sheet for new characters in hand and we’re flying.. haha I can see this is going to get more complicated and we will need a few more books. Yarros writing style seems to be cleaned up a little bit here so I’m liking it so far.
