Tessa Bailey had been real all over the place with this series but damn when she's horny she's /horny/

For the record I hate myself

Someone definitely gave the narrator my feedback that he was occasionally unintelligible because he is ENUNCIATING in this one (positive)

Somehow this r/f is the straightest book I've read all year (very derogatory)

Of all the emotions I expected to feel reading this book, boredom was not one of them

Obsessed with Icarus's narrator

"His voice . . . plunges down a mineshaft of manliness"

I might need to dnf wtf

Not actually that *surprised* that the execution of this premise is pretty boring, but I am disappointed

I don't get what this book is getting to do

Well written but one of the main character's main personality trait is he's annoying, so unfortunately he is VERY annoying

This book has the narrative subtly of Encanto

I love Mary Jane Well (the narrator) but I want to shake this until a better book comes out

finally some good fucking food

I miss when books were edited

real talk, is this Twilight fanfiction?

uggh I really, really wanted to like this but it's just not coming together for me

Ok I picked this up again and with a newfound appreciation for good writing and good narrators, I'm finding the content much more appealing

Absolutely not the book's fault that this is full of things I'm not into and yet I started reading it anyway. Someday I'll learn to read book blurbs....someday....

I can't believe they just <spoiler> with half the book to go?? Here for it though</spoiler>

The slow burn is just *chef's kiss*. I see "our hands brushed" and raise you "he licked some sugar and thought of her".

This book is aggressively boring but I'm still plowing through it because I can't believe the whole book will be this boring? It has yet to prove me right.

So far this book is only medium OK, but I am not in a spot where I'm confident I can handle feeling feelings so it's a welcome kind of mediocre.

I don't usually add re-reads but I'm so behind in my reading challenge this year ;--;

This book has so many blisteringly hot sex scenes that I can't listen to it on my commute in to work anymore

Look I mostly am enjoying this book but some of it is a bit too simplistic. Case in point, the end of this chapter:
"She had done it. They had done it! They were heroines!"

LMAO I can't believe other reviews are praising the baseball in this book because more than once ISTG the author wrote [baseball stuff] in the draft and then never actually put baseball stuff in. I'm finding it really frustratingly ungrounded in anything outside the two MCs.

I am very distracted by trying to figure out exactly what kind of parrot Delilah is. A cockatoo?
