I don't get what this book is getting to do

Well written but one of the main character's main personality trait is he's annoying, so unfortunately he is VERY annoying

This book has the narrative subtly of Encanto

I love Mary Jane Well (the narrator) but I want to shake this until a better book comes out

finally some good fucking food

uggh I really, really wanted to like this but it's just not coming together for me

Ok I picked this up again and with a newfound appreciation for good writing and good narrators, I'm finding the content much more appealing

Absolutely not the book's fault that this is full of things I'm not into and yet I started reading it anyway. Someday I'll learn to read book blurbs....someday....

The slow burn is just *chef's kiss*. I see "our hands brushed" and raise you "he licked some sugar and thought of her".

This book is aggressively boring but I'm still plowing through it because I can't believe the whole book will be this boring? It has yet to prove me right.

So far this book is only medium OK, but I am not in a spot where I'm confident I can handle feeling feelings so it's a welcome kind of mediocre.

I don't usually add re-reads but I'm so behind in my reading challenge this year ;--;

This book has so many blisteringly hot sex scenes that I can't listen to it on my commute in to work anymore

Look I mostly am enjoying this book but some of it is a bit too simplistic. Case in point, the end of this chapter:
"She had done it. They had done it! They were heroines!"

LMAO I can't believe other reviews are praising the baseball in this book because more than once ISTG the author wrote [baseball stuff] in the draft and then never actually put baseball stuff in. I'm finding it really frustratingly ungrounded in anything outside the two MCs.

I am very distracted by trying to figure out exactly what kind of parrot Delilah is. A cockatoo?

This is my first time reading a romance novel of this era so I don't know if it's an outlier or not, but 120 pages in and it feels like we're still in the set up! I'm beginning to suspect it's a next generation book but first we have to get through the first generation.

Hey so this is very good so far. Like even when my attention span is done I skim a few more pages because I don't want to put it down.

good so far but again if I would read ANYTHING before I start a book I'd stop being surprised by fantasy romances that I assumed were straight fantasy /o/ A me problem for sure.

Partially I am burned out on Kleypas rn but it does feel a little like she's missing an opportunity to branch out from her formula.

Has taken an unfortunate turn downwards. Why is the only antagonist the Evil Ex?

Enjoying this so much I tried to listen to it at work (terrible idea)

"hmm, Pandora is the heroine of this one, better give her some kind of quirky obstacle whether or not it's come up in previous books...I know, she can't balance"

Idk how this book is so good
