Written from a third person's perspective telling the history to his nephew, so there is no first-hand storyline to follow about the main characters. It is finishing the tale, but it can be distracting at times and incomplete. The other issue I have is the number of people named the same - you can get lost if you aren't paying attention to who is who. It is definitely not as good as the original books.
