All the harm notwithstanding, the origins of Mormonism are just so undeniably silly. Everything Joseph Smith did makes me smile and shake my head like “oh that scamp” as if he didn’t start a cult that is grossly misogynistic at best and a child sex trafficking network at worst. It’s just so unbelievable that this ever took off the ground
