Finished my GR goal with less than an hour left of the year after lowering it a couple months ago. This was the hardest reading year I’ve had in over a decade. Hoping 2026 is better

Third times a charm. Wanted to revisit after Snow and Haymitchs’ books.

Book 21! Let’s go! 😂

“The desert reminds me of how I feel around people: I can see them, touch them, be right ho next to them, and I know I’m part of their world, but again the same time I’m not.” - Tean

Giving this book another try for Amanda. Here goes…

Let’s see how this goes.

2.5? Maybe? This is like if the sappiest cheesiest hallmark movie had a baby with Edward Cullen and produced a sappy, cheesy, wimp of a vampire. I don’t think I’ve ever read a vampire as boring and non vampire as Roman. And if I read the word “mate” or “vampire” again, I’m going to go insane.

4.5 stars

I love this book. Everything about it was absolutely spectacular.

So far, I'd call it "Cuban Politics of today and yesterday."

I want to finish this book and make it stretch on forever at the same time.
