I understand the message of this book so far but it’s written with a very heavy hand. The beginning started off strong and intriguing but now I’m a bit bored.

Only at the end of volume one did we see any sort of actual romance between Catharine and Heathcliff and then it ends. Just when it started to get good.

Only up until page 70 do you get to see how awful Catherine is. Edgar Linton is also an idiot too

All the characters in this book are unlikeable.

Damn this book is depressing,

I find it so interesting how Dorian is actually so nuch stronger than Aelin but we only ever see her magic

Okay so the description of Orynth and the scene with lysandra and aedion in the throne room is utterly beautiful

You can imagine the vastness and emptynesss of the castle

Hi so i want more Aedion and Lysandra chapters but noo we have to be stuck with Manon and Dorian. To be honest im half way into this gigantic book and the only thing Lysandra and Aedion have done is lose a battle. I WANT MORE. Also Dorian and Manon can choke byee bitch

Sarah is so good at creating an atmosphere before a battle. I feel the dread and anxiety and its so realistic. She painted the atmosphere perfectly

Aedion does not deserve this. He was trying to make do from a shitty situation and now he gets punished.

The Manon/Dorian chapters and plot doesn't have to be this long. So far their whole progress could have been said in like two chapters. My least favourite chapters in this book and I haven't felt that way about Manon chapters since the first half of Heir of Fire. and also Dorian, please stop being such an emo edge lord okay? it aint cute
