This adaptation is not improving. Jane Eyre just cannot be directly adapted to the 21st century.

Jane Eyre is not one to be adapted into the 21st century…this story isn’t working for me.

My 12 year old said this book is SO good. Since she does not read and actually liked a book, I thought I would also give it a try. 12 year old probably have loved it…44 year old me? Not so much. lol.

Not sure how I feel about this book...I love the storyline but HATE all of the characters!! (Pretty sure that is how we are supposed to feel....lol)

The book just. Won’t. End. I really enjoyed her first book…but this one is just not for me. For being well over 600 pages, not a lot is happening.

Wow, I am really enjoying this book. I find myself asking myself about what I would do. Would I open the box? Would I want to know?
Such a thoought-provoking novel!

This book is never-ending...and not much is happening. No real character development, the plot is non-existant with 10 million unanswered characters...I have a little over 100 pages left and it feels like 1000.

I love Jandy Nelson's writing style!

Absolutely loving this book! I can see why it has won so many awards.

To say I am disappointed is a huge understatement. :( I have to google every few pages to figure out what the heck is even going on…

There is a lot of world building going on and this author seems to make up a new word for EVERYTHING, but then does not include the majority of it in the glossary? What IS included is explained within the story itself?

This is supposedly amazing...but I find myself flipping back to figure out what sowmouth is, but that is not included in glossary?

I like the storyline, but the book is so. So. Long…I feel like a good editor needs to be hired to remove all of the unnecessary plot points and descriptions.
